At WOLL, all ideas start with a blank sheet of paper. And the question: how can we make cooking a little easier? Admittedly, making cooking easier was initially a self-serving endeavour. Norbert Woll, himself a passionate cook, was dissatisfied with the equipment in his kitchen and began to develop his own cookware in the 1970s. One of his first visionary designs was the detachable pan handle, which made handling in the kitchen easier.

Certainly without a handle.

A removable handle has many advantages. For example, when your kitchen turns into a kindergarten and little hands scurry around the hob. But a pan without a handle is also better off in the oven, in the sink, in the dishwasher and in the drawer.

Put your cake in the pan

It's hard to believe, but with the non-stick coating and removable handles, your pan is much more than just a pan: it's also a perfect cake tin or a great roasting tin. Just let your imagination run wild—your pan will always feel at home in the oven.

Lots of options. No compromises.

But the solid handles also have obvious advantages: made of stainless steel or phenolic, they not only look great but are also ovenproof up to 250 degrees. Many of our pan models are available with very different handle variants—take a look around and decide for yourself which variant suits you and your (cooking) style!
